Guest profile

Paulo Costa completed his PhD in the Economics Department at Harvard University. Paulo’s primary research interests were in household finance and behavioural economics. He used a combination of field experiments and observational data to study the behaviour of investors and borrowers. Prior to going to Harvard, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Yale University.

Paulo then went on to join Vanguard as a Behavioral Economist in the Investment Strategy Group in 2020.
