Ruth co-founded and led The Red House, a boutique financial planning firm, which she successfully merged with Paradigm Norton in December 2017 - she currently stands as Non-Executive Director. Ruth also hosts Money Espresso in collaboration with Paradigm Norton, a podcast aimed to give insight on money and life experiences.

Ruth has also recently been appointed Chairperson of the Institute for Financial Wellbeing, having previously been appointed as Vice Chair in February 2022 - she aims to continue to change the narrative around money.

A well-known and influential member of the financial planning profession, Ruth is regularly asked to comment and speak at industry and women’s events.
