Alan Smith is Chief Client Officer for Capital Asset Management which he started in 2004, with a clear vision to doing things differently and building a client-focused culture.

Since then, Capital has challenged conventional thinking within the financial services, where on the forefront it seems to be all about selling expensive and baffling financial products to generate large commissions - but which never seemed to solve the real life issues faced by clients.

Instead he developed a client-focused culture that took time to get to know their clients, by listening, understanding their needs and building a lifetime relationship as a true ‘trusted adviser’.
